About the Role

Kolomolo is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Strategy & Management Consultant to support ongoing information security initiatives within a critical public-sector environment. The consultant will play a key role in strategic planning governance and development of security management processes.

What Youll Be Doing

• Drive business development and change management initiatives within information security.
• Participate in projects and analyze needs for development and improvement.
• Prepare strategic decision materials for changes in governance and management processes.
• Implement legal requirements and internal information security policies.
• Collaborate with information security experts across the region.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security governance structures.

What We Are Looking For

Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience communicating information security topics at executive/management level.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic change analysis related to:

1. Organizational structures;
2. Legal and regulatory aspects of information security.

• Certification in ISO/IEC 27001 (implementation of management systems).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
• Structured approach with strong focus on quality assurance and risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must undergo and pass suitability/security vetting prior to assignment.

Nice to Have

• Certification in GIAC Security Operations Certified (GSOC).
• Experience in change management within complex public organizations.
• Experience conducting IT security audits related to laws and regulations.
• Experience working within critical societal or healthcare operations.
• Reference assignments showing high quality and relevance.
