Job Description:
Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful mental health & social care teams in the country. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate with experience of working in young peoples social care services to work within a residential setting. This role is ideally full time hours which would involve a 24/7 roster where staff would have a mixture of day shifts/live night shifts (12 hour shifts). At present this locum post will be required on a temporary basis.
Essential Requirements
- A relevant third-level qualification (or equivalent) in Social Care
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) practical training required
- Registered with CORU as Social Care Worker
- Experience in a similar care setting (e.g. Residential Domiciliary or Day Services).
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities autism or complex behaviours.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems (Word Excel SharePoint).
- A full UK/ROI Driving Licence valid for use
- Right to Work in the UK/Ireland
