Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility adhering to established care plans.
- Administer medications treatments and other therapies as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patients vital signs and conditions and document changes in their health status.
- Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses medications and health maintenance.
- Provide wound care and perform other nursing tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate timely and confidential patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians social workers and therapists to provide comprehensive care.
- Respond to patient needs promptly and with compassion.
Required Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays as required.
