PAY RATE: $85-96/hour

Job Type: Contract (Up to 7 months with potential for extension)
Overtime: Up to 15% overtime
Per Diem: Available

Summary:

Leads development integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish system design.
Coordinates with other engineering groups to define the product environment.
Guides product design and verifies structural integrity using analytical methods finite element models/simulations (FEM) and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
Develops structural characteristics performance criteria and system requirements.
Leads development of test plans and configurations supports test execution and analyzes/reports results to validate systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Defines and documents certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.
Supports in-service products by leading failure investigations and recommending improvements.
Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness quality and efficiency of development efforts.
Works under minimal direction.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in a STEM field (Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics or Chemistry)
9 years of related work experience
Hand calculations (Classical Hand Analysis)
FEM experience (Patran/Nastran)
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
