Job Summary

Job Title: Technician -III (Remote)

Location: Madison WI

Duration: 12 Months

Project Details:

The client seeks a contractor to help augment our Systems and Engineering team that oversees our IT infrastructure and server systems. The current team members are involved in a project to migrate servers consolidating systems into new data centers. This position will work with the team stakeholders and clients migrating Windows and Linux machines and perform day-to-day systems administration work. The duties of the position include:

Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:

Proficiency in using VMware to manage Windows and Linux Servers.
Building configuring and managing Windows and Linux servers in a complex environment with over 300 servers.
Implementing and maintaining security and disaster recovery measures on Windows and Linux servers to safeguard data and applications.
Answering support tickets assisting users with issues related to Windows servers and Applications.
Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with users and stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Experience monitoring system performance and up time.
Familiarity with Active Directory Intune and/or M365 a plus.
Knowledge of IAM systems and two factor authentication in particular Okta is also preferred.
Experience working with MS SQL servers and clusters.
