Job Type: Full-time Hybrid

Location: Cape Town

Reporting directly to: Head of Software

Requirements

3 years experience with frontend engineering using JavaScript and TypeScript
Strong experience with React (or similar frameworks like Angular or Vue)
Expertise with HTML5 CSS3 and responsive web design
Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (e.g. Jest Cypress)
Experience working with APIs and asynchronous data flows (AJAX Fetch etc.)
Comfortable with Git and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

Experience with real-time data visualization (e.g. )
Exposure to sports technology or wearable tech environments

Responsibilities

As part of their engineering team:

Build and maintain performant user-friendly web interfaces for their sports technology products
Collaborate with product and design teams to implement new features and improvements
Support data visualizations that help teams and athletes interpret performance data
Write clean maintainable code and participate in code reviews
Contribute to improving UI/UX across platforms
Participate in an on-call rota to support live deployments
