Thalle is currently seeking experienced and motivated candidates to fill multiple Construction Laborer positions at our project located in Belle Glade Fl.

You will work closely with and support the operations team interact with a variety of staff at all levels and uphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Thalle established in 1947 is a heavy civil construction company with a corporate office in Hillsborough NC and a regional office in Alvarado Texas. Thalle has construction projects throughout the Southeast Texas and New Jersey with growth nationwide. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will be required to unload and carry materials at construction sites.
• You must clean up the site from debris and discarded material.
• The ability to mix and pour concrete is preferred but not mandatory.
• You will assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment.
• You will signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance.
• You must be willing to complete manual labor.
• You will operate pneumatic hammers vibrators and tampers.
• You must conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• You must have the ability to receive written or oral instructions.
• You must establish and maintain effective working relationships with field and office personnel.
• You must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety looking out for yourself and others.

Physical Requirements:

• You will perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping and handling materials.
• You must be able to work long shifts.
• You will work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
• You must have good hand-eye coordination and quick reaction times.
• You must be able to wear a hard hat safety glasses gloves and safety-toed boots.
• You must be able to walk moderate distances to reach the work area up to 1/2 mile.
• You must have the ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• You must have the ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards.
• You must be able to talk listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
• You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
