Medical Assistant

Location: Logan Health Primary Care 1675 Talbot rd. Columbia Falls MT

Schedule: PRN (as-needed; flexible schedule)

Logan Health Primary Care at 1675 Talbot delivers comprehensive patient-centered care for individuals and families in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality primary care while ensuring every patient feels heard valued and cared for.

We are seeking a friendly organized and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our primary care this role you will support providers and patients by performing clinical tasks helping maintain smooth clinic operations and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures including taking vitals and recording medical histories.

  • Assist providers with examinations treatments and minor procedures.

  • Administer injections immunizations or medications per clinic protocol and state regulations.

  • Accurately document patient information in electronic health records.

  • Coordinate patient scheduling referrals and follow-up care.

  • Maintain a clean organized and safe clinical environment.

  • Communicate effectively with patients families and clinic staff to provide excellent patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.

  • Experience in a primary care setting preferred but not required.

  • Strong organizational multitasking and clinical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; enjoys connecting with patients.

  • Comfortable using electronic health records and clinic software.

  • Flexible and adaptable to a PRN schedule.

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

PRN positions (also referred to as Casual As Needed or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods employee absences and vacations making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs.Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
