But to ensure high levels of process adoption you need to create processes that provide a great employee experience: that serve employees needs understand their preferences and solve their problems.
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer (freelance/contract) to own the quality of our Works offerings (ProcurementWorks LegalWorks). This is a part-time role for a 6-month engagement ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can catch regressions usability issues or edge cases that automated tests might miss.
Hybrid work arrangements are preferred.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer preferably in SaaS or enterprise platforms.
- Strong experience in manual regression testing bug reporting and test documentation.
- Comfortable with low-code/no-code platforms or complex configuration-driven applications.
- High attention to detail; able to detect functional and UX discrepancies that automated tests may miss.
- Excellent written communication skills (English) for bug reports and updates.
- Ability to work independently and proactively flag issues.
Responsibilities
- Execute a suite of 20 test scenarios for each Works solution (ProcurementWorks LegalWorks) and for the platform as a whole.
- Run regression tests regularly or on-demand when new changes are deployed.
- Document track and report bugs with clear reproduction steps severity assessment and screenshots/videos as needed.
- Provide feedback on usability or UI inconsistencies noticed during testing.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine or expand regression coverage over time.
- Optionally assist in defining scenarios for future automation.
Engagement Details
- Part-time freelance/contract (invoiced per hour or retainer).
- Duration: 6 months with potential extension based on performance.
- Hybrid work preferred combining remote and on-site collaboration.
