Location: Ornua Foods UK Sunnyhills Road ST15 5SP.

Hours: Sunday to Thursday 22:00pm to 06:00am (Fixed shifts)

Salary: 14.85ph

We have exciting opportunities available for Skilled Production Operatives with previous manufacturing experience to join our team in Leek on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be working as part of a team on one of our state-of-the-art Production lines. You will carry out all Production-related tasks to produce the highest quality and great tasting products for some of our well-known customers. We use some of the latest interactive technologies to monitor our product quality and measure our efficiency levels.

Successful candidates will needto be able to operate within a challenging but rewarding factory environmentthat is physically demanding and can entail repetitive tasks. The role will be based within a chilled environment (less than 8 degrees) and will involve heavy lifting. The required PPE is provided by Ornua.

As a Skilled Production Operative you will work within a team on one of our state-of-the-art Production this role your key duties will include:

• Assist Zone Leaders to set up the production lines in accordance with requirements
• Be responsible for carefully and efficiently packing a variety of cheese products for distribution
• Monitor the production line to ensure products are of the best quality standards
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain a clear workstation and production floor in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and policies
• Ensure that any issues that arise are promptly and accurately reported to the Zone Leader
• Support and motivate other colleagues

• A willingness to learn share knowledge and develop
• Adaptability and flexibility as you may be required to work in different areas of the factory as well as perform other reasonable tasks
• A willingness to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Good verbal written and numerical skills
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be given to ensure you can be your best
