ABOUT ROCKY MOUNTAIN BAGEL CO.

As you come through our doors youll find a welcoming and friendly small-town atmosphere where people connect over handmade food coffee and good music. During the day our day bakers whip up homemade flavors of cream cheeses fillings for our squares caramels icings cookies and soups. Every night the Evening Bakers make dozens of our artisan Mountain Style bagels in 9 different flavors along with our muffins. We support our community by partnering with the finest local producers in the Bow Valley.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DAY BAKER

In this Day Baker role you will spend the day preparing our bakery treats including delicious cinnamon buns banana breads and nanaimo bars. You enjoy following recipes and accurately measure weigh and mix a variety of ingredients. Drawing on your eye for the details you cut shape and decorate with precision. Embracing our company culture you create quality products while maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. The physical demands of a busy bakery is nothing you cant handle and you maintain a calm demeanor during high-volume periods. You are a true team player and help where you are needed. Whether its cleaning floors bathrooms and surface areas you work efficiently to keep our bakery running smoothly. You communicate with supervisors and managers so that they can respond accordingly. At the end of the day you feel good about the quality products you have created for our customers.

DAY BAKER QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working in a Bakery
Ability to learn quickly
High level of precision and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive physical tasks
Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
Great attitude
Full valid Alberta Drivers License

DAY BAKER WORK SCHEDULE

This position works between the hours of 5:30 am - 1:30 pm Monday to Sunday. End times may vary based on production levels. Full-time 5 days per week and Part-time 2-4 days per week.
