What You Will Do

We need an individual who is ready to be the pillar of support for our Facilities department. You will be responsible for setting the standard of professional representation with external partners and internal customers. The ideal candidate brings a high level of organizational and technical acumen coupled with superior communication skills. This is a role for a proactive self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and a proven ability to follow through on complex tasks while maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of critical building systems and emergency procedures

• Respond to and complete requests in customer-centric manner

• Escort and monitor the activities of contractors

• Inspect public and common areas for safety cleanliness operation and availability of perishable supplies

• Support and maintain conference rooms

• Assist with employee moves

• Monitor deliver and/or coordinate with vendors to deliver supplies

• Deliver large and heavy items

• Available to occasionally support after hour emergencies (Including Alarm System calls)

• Perform other operations and maintenance activities as assigned

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• 2-3 years of experience working in a commercial building maintenance position general maintenance or experience in a similar capacity

• Experience with general maintenance HVAC systems commercial safety procedures and emergency procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

• Discretion tact independent judgment flexibility dependability and accountability

• Confidence in self-appointed work with a high degree of self-discipline

• Proven track record of establishing and maintaining efficient and effective processes

• Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot issues independently

• Clear communicator detail-oriented and organized

Work Environment

• Blend of corporate offices labs and warehouse space

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis

• Must be able to climb and work off a ladder

• Balancing stooping kneeling and crawling on occasion

• Some exposure to noise and electricity

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
