Position Summary: The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring clean linens are supplied to the entire hotel.

Essential Job Functions
- Processing soiled linens and producing clean folded organized linens to the housekeeping and f&b teams.
- Follow machine instructions to the letter ensuring proper use of all equipment thus one must be able to read and understand labels and checklists.
- Maintain an organized clean healthy and safe environment in the laundry area.
- Deliver clean linens to the linen closets on the guest room floors and deliver to the restaurant and bar areas.
- Remove soiled linens when support of the housekeeping team is needed.
- Assisting room attendants as needed stripping rooms bringing supplies taking out garbage.
- Immediately report any technical issues and maintenance needs to the Hotel Shift Leader.
- Request chemicals and/or supplies from the Director of Rooms or Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Follow all health and safety rules.
- This position requires standing most of the shift and carrying linens up to 20 lbs at a time. Use of carts trays and tables are part of the job.
Experience and Education:
Having some experience in a laundry or working in a housekeeping department is great but not necessary.
Having worked in an environment where you followed a set routine is a plus.
Minimum High school diploma GED Certificate of Completion or equivalent is required.
