Job Summary
smartdept. inc. is seeking a fast detail-oriented Graphic Designer for a remote freelance contract supporting our clients marketing and communications teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on multi-page document work is an expert in InDesign and the Adobe Creative Suite and enjoys collaborating across departments to bring creative projects to life.
What Youll Do:
- Design and produce multi-page documents including brochures reports collateral and presentations ensuring brand consistency throughout
- Execute a variety of marketing materialsdigital and printfrom concept through completion
- Work closely with Marcom and marketing managers to implement design solutions that are on-brand and meet business goals
- Collaborate with copywriters researchers and other creatives in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Update and align existing materials to new brand guidelines
- Support campaigns social media and event materials as needed
- Juggle multiple assignments prioritize deadlines and maintain high quality standards
What Youll Need:
- 3 years of professional graphic design experience (marketing/agency experience preferred)
- Strong portfolio showcasing multi-page documents and advanced typography skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign; advanced skills in Photoshop Illustrator and the rest of the Creative Suite
- Experience designing for both print and digital (web email social assets)
- Fast efficient work style and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail organization and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience preferred
- Bonus: Experience in healthcare science or medical industries; motion graphics interactive design or photography skills
