This is a remote position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 20 paid hours per week Flexible within US Eastern Timezone
Key Responsibilities:
- Support patients in understanding and navigating U.S. healthcare processes (insurance referrals follow-up care)
- Clarify AI-generated responses and guide users through non-clinical next steps
- Offer warm empathetic communication by chat and phone
- Escalate any urgent or clinically complex issues to U.S.-licensed RN team
- Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA-compliant communication
- Collaborate with the U.S.-based operations and AI teams
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a patient-facing healthcare support role
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare system workflows (insurance scheduling etc.)
- Strong knowledge and experience in insurance and the U.S. healthcare system.
- Excellent English (written and spoken) for professional communication
- Reliable home office setup with fast internet and a private quiet environment
- Able to work independently and manage case flows remotely
Nice to Have:
- Previous work in telehealth digital health or U.S.-based insurance support
- Knowledge of HIPAA practices or documentation standards
