Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a SMT Soldering Technician. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient assembly and manufacturing of electronic components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems with hands-on experience in PCB assembly soldering and the use of various tools and equipment.

Duties

Assemble and manufacture electronic components according to schematics and technical drawings.
Perform soldering tasks on printed circuit boards (PCBs) while adhering to IPC 610 standards.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for testing and troubleshooting assemblies.
Conduct electrical wiring tasks ensuring all connections are secure and compliant with safety standards.
Operate hand tools power tools and machining equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance ensuring they meet specified requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.

Experience

Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly roles particularly in electronics or related fields.
Strong knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) processes.
Familiarity with electrical schematics and the ability to interpret technical documents.
Mechanical knowledge with experience using calipers ohmmeters and other measuring instruments.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
Previous experience in soldering and working with PCBs is highly desirable.
