Job description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a SMT Soldering Technician. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient assembly and manufacturing of electronic components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems with hands-on experience in PCB assembly soldering and the use of various tools and equipment.
Duties
- Assemble and manufacture electronic components according to schematics and technical drawings.
- Perform soldering tasks on printed circuit boards (PCBs) while adhering to IPC 610 standards.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for testing and troubleshooting assemblies.
- Conduct electrical wiring tasks ensuring all connections are secure and compliant with safety standards.
- Operate hand tools power tools and machining equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance ensuring they meet specified requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly roles particularly in electronics or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) processes.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and the ability to interpret technical documents.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience using calipers ohmmeters and other measuring instruments.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Previous experience in soldering and working with PCBs is highly desirable.
