Job Summary
Calling all college undergraduate and graduate students seeking real-world sports clubhouse management experience! We want you here in Asheboro for a hands-on internship that provides you with a tremendous opportunity to experience summer baseball with a first class organization.
Our interns are the heart and soul of an amazing fan experience for ZooKeeper fans here in Asheboro. While learning the many facets of summer baseball our interns will positively impact the Asheboro community our unwavering fanbase our host families and partners. As an intern you will develop and take ownership in projects throughout the season and bring them to life with our team of interns and full-time staff!

Qualified ZooKeeper interns will engage in many tasks over the course of the season. You will assist in all areas of pre/post game management . Our Clubhouse Manager will report directly to the Assistant General Manager. They will oversee the management and maintenance of both our home clubhouse and the Umpire Locker Room during the 2025 Asheboro ZooKeepers season. The Clubhouse Manager must be able to interact professionally with umpires coaches players and front office personnel .
Responsibilities
- Oversee the clubhouse maintenance and upkeep including trash cleaning sweeping etc. as needed
- Assist in loading/unloading team buses for team arrivals and departures as needed
- Oversee team laundry and towels
- Overseeing merchandise re-stock
- Overseeing preparation and set up of post-game meals
- Set up of dugout for early field work batting practice and game
- Provide general support and fulfill baseball-related requests from staff and players
- Provide exemplary service to umpires players & staff
- Occasionally may be tasked with running errands outside the ballpark
- Other tasks as assigned by the Assistant General Manager
To qualify and join this exciting team atmosphere interns must have at least a 3.0GPA and submit a letter of recommendation from a current or former professor. This internship is only available to college-level students both undergraduate and graduate students who are looking for a college credit internship. The internship is on-site in Asheboro NC.
- Summer Term: May 19th through August 12th 2026.
