At Bellco Feeders we design and manufacture custom parts feeding systems for manufacturing applications. Founded in 2022 our company is new to the market and gaining traction quickly. Mechanical Travel Technicians at Bellco perform duties essential to running testing perfecting and preparing for shipment for all Bellco systems along with support at customer facilities. They are also responsible for troubleshooting and making every effort to resolve performance issues including travel to support our systems on-site at customers facilities as required. A strong mechanic / mechanical background is preferred and on-site training will be conducted to learn job specific skills
Duties/Responsibilities:
Travel to customers facilities sometimes on short notice to perform troubleshooting and debug
Set-up and perform functional testing on Bellco Feeders systems
o Primarily mechanical assembly and troubleshooting but pneumatic and electrical may also be required
o Tasks may include assembly mounting fastening drilling & taping placing leveling plumbing pneumatics welding and/or other tube and pipe-based systems
Actively work to de-bug troubleshoot and solve performance challenges
Support systems through acceptance testing up to and including potential on-site customer installations and/or service and maintenance
Create BOM for each system and update as needed
Basic ability to operate manufacturing machinery as needed
Assist with a variety of other duties as requested including machine surface preparation and painting unpacking received equipment packing out-going equipment crating and packaging outgoing machinery etc.
Maintain diligent workplace safety practices and cleanliness
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of methods practices tools and equipment of the technician & mechanic trade. Welding experience preferred.
Strategic thinking and troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings
Ability to read and interpret pneumatic schematics and electrical wiring diagrams is a plus
Ability to participate and coordinate with a project team
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and operate lift trucks and overhead cranes
Ability to work overtime as needed

Hands-on experience programming and debugging valves I/O pneumatic devices motors PLCs and other mechanical systems. Familiarity with project management and customer interaction in an engineering context. Additional Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
