Senior Technical Manager and Advisor for Customized Control Systems and Rod Control (mfd)

You will be responsible for the execution and technical management of projects in the area of control and automation systems as well as for coordinating your teams projects and service deployments. Typical applications include manipulators remote-controlled handling systems and inspection/test systems.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Technical acquisition preparation of technical offers and cost estimates
• Project management for projects classified as C and D

This includes the independent and fully responsible managing of assigned orders as project manager/order manager in automation technology as well as the development and future expansion of the field of control technology and drive technology for automated applications.

As main role you will support the project teams with expertise on electrical design of circuit diagram basic design for PLC in combination with motors and sensors for rad-hard applications. A second role is to support the Rod Control team worldwide on technical concepts new developments and troubleshooting.

Furthertasks include:

• Independent development of software and hardware concepts and structures
• Independent preparation of current status reports requirements and specifications
• Responsible software development and assessment according to V-Plan involving internal and external programmers
• Responsible preparation of cost estimates offers and scheduling
• Determination of design data and implementation of qualifications
• Preparation of risk and hazard analyses and FMEA documentsfor systems and components for automation systems around safety (Category B C and NC)
• Responsible preparation of technical documentation descriptions and operating instructions in German and English
• Management and execution of commissioning/acceptance tests at the factory and on-site
• Customer consulting and acquisition tasks
• Training and preparation of training materials
• R&D processing with further development of the automation of manipulators/robots
• Establishment of a competence center within I&C for control and automation technology based on PLC and PC HMI systems in the nuclear environment
• Analysis using deterministic and probabilistic methods
• Processing of requirements for basic and detailed design of software-based control and monitoring systems for self-standing systems with regard tosafety-oriented functions operational functions
• Ensure IT security - CyberSecurity - network topology & data processing - data management systems

• Completed degree in electrical engineering computer science
• Experience in electrical engineering (>10 years)
• Experience in EMC conform design and testing (> 10 years)
• Professional experience in project management(>10 years)
• Experience in Software assessment with high programic language (requirements design by coding architecture V-Plan) (> 5 years)
• Experience in Hardware development of equipment systems for automation and welding technology (>5 years)
• Experience with programmable logic controllers Simatic S7 PCS7 and WinCC is desirable
• Deep knowledge on frequency converter power circuits and sensors
• Knowlegdge of DIN EN standards for electrical engineering equipment for electrical machines and cranes (required)
• Knowledge of nuclear standards especially KTA 3902 and 3903 RCC-E (desirable)
• Deep knowledge on standards IEC61508 EN IEC62061 EN ISO13849 IEC62138
• Advisor or Expert Experience recommended
• English fluently

• Hands-on mentality strong communication skills
• Class B drivers license and willingness to travel
