Experienced or Senior Program Management Specialist

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our Harpoon Coastal Defense Systems (HCDS) team in St. Charles Missouri.

Position Responsibilities Experienced Level 3:

• Provides technical and business support to meet supplier performance targets
• Develops stakeholder relationships and evaluates performance throughout all contract phases
• Conducts supplier assessments
• Reviews current and projected work statement to support procurement strategies and contractual compliance
• Evaluates elements of recovery corrective and preventative action plans
• Provides data to support the communication of supplier performance plans risks issues and opportunities

Position Responsibilities Senior Level 4:

• Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
• Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
• Conducts and guides supplier assessments
• Develops current and projected work statement
• Leads and establishes the basis for recovery corrective and preventative action plans
• Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks issues and opportunities to stakeholders
• Develops and executes work movement plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Technical Bachelors Masters or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree or greater in a mathematic scientific or information technology field of study)
• More than 3 years of experience creating interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements
• More than 3 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
• More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• More than 3 years of experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Senior Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
• More than 3 years of experience working in Supply Chain Management Finance or Program Management
• More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
• More than 3 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced Level 3: $110500 - $136500

Summary pay range for Senior Level 4: $128350 - $158550
