Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents their families and colleagues 7 days a week across AM PM and Nightshifts. This role based at Ashmore care home (Ashmore aged care home Gold Coast) will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. About You

At Infinite Care we hire for heart so our best people are highly empathic instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to think on your feet communicate effectively build rapport and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers addition you will also

• Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
• Understanding of person-centred care principles and their application in lifestyle programs with basic knowledge of the emotional social and physical needs of older adults.
• Qualifications across Certificate III Individual Support or Leisure and Lifestyle is applicable for this role is desirable.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector (*or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
• Very positive teamwork attitude a trusted co-worker excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and always follow strict safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
• A passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and willingness to help our company deliver quality of care services every day!
• Display a positive fun and confident personality to help our residents (*who sometime can be very shy) to get involved in lifestyle and group activities.

Our care roles are busy! Alot of bending lifting pushing and squatting to perform your duties safely. All candidates will be required to complete an online medical assessment to maintain personal and workplace safety standards.
