Job Summary
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in managing the organizations financial reporting analysis and compliance activities. This position is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements ensuring adherence to accounting standards and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong technical accounting expertise analytical skills and the ability to improve financial processes.
This is a fully onsite position
Salary: $100-120k/yr
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger and oversee journal entries account reconciliations and accruals.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Review and verify financial transactions and documentation for compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with external auditors and coordinate audit schedules and documentation.
- Review payroll accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 4 years accounting experience
- Active CPA
$100000 - $120000 a year
