Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our Rochester NY facility
Essential Functions:
- Experience troubleshooting vibration and thermal systems.
- Promptly responding to operations support requests in the resolution of equipment issues impacting production.
- Calibration Monitor (70%)- responsible for the tracking of calibrated assets.
- Generate weekly reports for the factories calibrated assets due.
- Coordinate and manage the movement of assets from the calibration lab and into the factories.
- Coordinate with operations and test engineering support and sustainment teams on replacement timing and validation.
- Assist in coordinating the repair and replacement of damaged/irreparable assets.
- Support minor station and equipment issues when replacing the assets.
- Responsible for identifying shortages in equipment inventory and spares.
- Vibration Technician (15%)- Responsible for vibration table maintenance via OJT.
- Chamber Technician (15%)- Responsible for thermal chamber maintenance via OJT.
- Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours)
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant manufacturing experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior manufacturingrelated experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Understanding of mechanical systems and thermal chambers.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience reading schematics and troubleshooting to component level
- Minimum of 1 year of experience MS Word and Excel
- 2 yrs. experience with LabView
- 2yrs. experience with internal and external customers
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $19.19 - $29.81. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
