Cyient Engineering AB in Karlstad is now looking for a Lead Engineer who will drive projects develop technical solutions and collaborate with global teams.
Cyient is a global engineering company providing advanced design and technology solutions to clients across multiple industries.
This is a role where you can combine technical expertise with leadership and project responsibility.
Your role at Cyient
As Lead Engineer you will act as the technical expert within the piping and layout discipline.
Youll manage project phases together with colleagues both locally and globally and serve as a key technical representative towards clients.
The position blends strategic ownership with hands-on engineering work focused on developing efficient and sustainable design solutions.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the piping and layout scope in ongoing projects
- Review approve and challenge technical solutions across project phases
- Develop design concepts and technical documentation in close collaboration with colleagues and clients
- Contribute to planning tracking and managing project deliverables and schedules
- Participate in site-based activities such as installation and commissioning

What you bring
You hold a . Mechanical Energy or Process Engineering or a similar field.
You have solid experience in piping engineering and multidisciplinary plant projects with a strong ability to lead structure and assure the quality of technical work.

We believe you have:
- Proven knowledge of relevant European piping codes and standards
- Experience managing work packages and project schedules
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English both spoken and written
- Experience from site activities such as installation or start-up
- Advantageous with experience in process engineering or stress analysis
