Private Cloud Products (PCP) Finance organization delivers leading finance applications as part of SAPs enterprise portfolio including SAP S/4HANA On Premise and the Private Cloud. We are a global development organization that works in close collaboration with customers and partners to support superior finance processes and new business models.
What youll do
As a developer you will become a part of a diverse international team. You will have the responsibility of managing parts of the SAP S/4HANA applications specifically finance products. Your tasks will focus on maintaining the existing code developing new parts of the code depending on law changes in different countries and bringing in new ideas
As a Development Expert joining GTS (Global Trade Services) team you will have a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of integrating and developing Artificial Intelligence technologies from the ground up. Our AI initiatives are offering you the chance to shape and drive innovative AI solutions that transform our processes products and services.
Your tasks will include:
- Understanding and resolving software issues
- Talking to customers and colleagues in English
- Managing the source code for key SAP software
- Development of new parts depending on law changes in different countries
- Making and testing corrections to the source code
- Working together on strategic projects (Customer cases prevention system self-healing applied AI etc.)
What you bring:
- 3 years of previous professional experience in (ABAP) development customer support
- Very good programming skills
- Experience in business application development in the context of SAP S/4HANA Finance or willingness to familiarize yourself with technical aspects and business processes of those applications.
- Team player with a strong ability to network and with the drive for tangible results
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written) German language ability is an advantage
- An eagerness to keep learning and discovering new things
- Knowledge of other foreign languages is beneficial
- Knowledge of Customs Processing or Export-Import processes or Logistics is beneficia
