Job Description
A state-of-the-art Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center in Southern New Hampshire is seeking a skilled Part-Time Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to join its growing surgical team. Serving both adult and pediatric populations this advanced ASC offers a variety of surgical specialties in a collaborative fast-paced environment that prioritizes patient safety and surgical excellence.
Position Summary
The Certified Surgical Technician will work under the supervision of the operating room team to ensure a safe sterile and well-prepared surgical environment. This role involves preparing operating rooms assisting during procedures and supporting the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares the operating room with necessary equipment instruments and supplies for a variety of surgical specialties including general neuro ortho thoracic bariatric colorectal and vascular procedures.
- Assists the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and adapts quickly to changing situations.
- Performs surgical counts with the circulating nurse to ensure patient safety.
- Helps clean and restock the OR following procedures and prepares for the next case.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
- Prior experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery center is required.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Part-Time Permanent
- Schedule: Two 10-hour shifts per week (Tuesday & Friday or Wednesday & Friday)
- $15000 Sign-On Bonus
