A state-of-the-art Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center in Southern New Hampshire is seeking a skilled Part-Time Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to join its growing surgical team. Serving both adult and pediatric populations this advanced ASC offers a variety of surgical specialties in a collaborative fast-paced environment that prioritizes patient safety and surgical excellence.

Position Summary

The Certified Surgical Technician will work under the supervision of the operating room team to ensure a safe sterile and well-prepared surgical environment. This role involves preparing operating rooms assisting during procedures and supporting the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepares the operating room with necessary equipment instruments and supplies for a variety of surgical specialties including general neuro ortho thoracic bariatric colorectal and vascular procedures.
Assists the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and adapts quickly to changing situations.
Performs surgical counts with the circulating nurse to ensure patient safety.
Helps clean and restock the OR following procedures and prepares for the next case.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
Prior experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery center is required.

Position Details:

Employment Type: Part-Time Permanent
Schedule: Two 10-hour shifts per week (Tuesday & Friday or Wednesday & Friday)
$15000 Sign-On Bonus
