Johns Hopkins All Childrens doctors nurses therapists and staff work in the Outpatient Care Center bringing some of our most frequently needed pediatric medical services to a convenient location serving numerous surrounding communities.

Position Summary: The Perinatal Sonographer III demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the management of diagnostic testing. Demonstrates focused critical thinking integrates multi-system implications and provides anticipatory observation and management for predictable events. Demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration and an outcome-oriented approach to care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
  • Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI
  • 5 years of experience as a Sonographer. Perinatal Sonography experience is required.
  • Dual registries preferred (ex. Fetal Echo Pediatric Echocardiography Nuchal Translucency Advanced Cardiac Sonographer Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Adult Echo)
  • Current BLS certification AHA
  • Ability to read write speak and understand English.

Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Day Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00PM. No weekend or holiday work.

***This position is located at the West Manatee Health Center in Bradenton FL (4 days per week) and 1 day per week at Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital main campus.

Salary Range: Minimum 36.52/hour - Maximum 58.44/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
