Job Description

Microns Singapore Process Development (PD) team within Technology Development (TD) is seeking a talented engineer to lead process development in Oxidation Diffusion Cell Films and Ion Implant for advanced NAND Flash technologies. You will drive innovation in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition (LPCVD) and Ion implantation processes supporting the development and transfer of cutting-edge semiconductor nodes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop and optimize processes for Oxidation Diffusion Cell Films and Ion Implant to meet product specifications and program timelines.
  • Characterize and troubleshoot thin film processes using advanced metrology and analysis tools.
  • Lead experiments using statistical methods (DOE SPC) to improve process capability and reduce variability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Integration Metrology Surface Characterization Electrical Failure Analysis Yield Enhancement Manufacturing and Equipment Vendors.
  • Support technology transfer and ramp-up activities for new products across global manufacturing sites.
  • Document process changes maintain control systems and ensure robust process performance.
  • Manage technical projects and contribute to fundamental research initiatives.
  • Provide weekend support for R&D pilot line operations when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering Materials Science Electrical Engineering Physics or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor process fundamentals especially in thin film deposition and ion implantation.
  • Experience in cleanroom process development and pilot line support is preferred.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel for business and support global technology transfer.
