Were looking for a dynamic Teacher who will combine a Head of Wellbeing Position of Responsibility to lead our wellbeing initiatives and inspire positive change across our school community.
About the Role
This role combines an ongoing classroom teacher role with strategic leadership in student wellbeing commencing with a 2-year Position of Responsibility. Youll play a pivotal part in shaping a culture of care resilience and belongingworking closely with staff students and families to foster a thriving school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in your subject area
Lead the development and implementation of wellbeing programs and policies
Work with the Wellbeing Team to support students social-emotional development and mental health
Collaborate with staff to embed wellbeing into the curriculum and school culture
Provide professional development and guidance to staff on wellbeing practices
Align wellbeing initiatives with PVCCs Christian ethos and values
About You
Youre an empathetic and proactive educator who brings:
Teaching qualifications and VIT registration
Proven experience in student wellbeing or pastoral care
Tertiary qualifications in Education Psychology Counselling Social Work or related field
Strong communication and leadership skills
A commitment to Christian education and the Colleges mission
Passion for making a meaningful impact in students lives
