Job Summary
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Worker at the Cache County Fairgrounds to help maintain and operate the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Grounds Maintenance Worker position will be assisting in the maintenance of all facilities which could include painting plumbing light repairs HVAC masonry carpentry etc. as well as landscaping operations.
The Grounds Maintenance Worker will also ensure timely maintenance preparation and grooming of facilities for various events; maintain the facility sound system and equipment; and perform maintenance of equipment such as tractors water trucks loaders ATVs lawn equipment etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have graduated from High School or have a GED have specialized training related to maintenance and construction fields facilities management or construction management and have at least one year of progressively responsible experience in building construction or building maintenance.
The candidate will also have a valid Drivers License no more than 2 moving violations within the past 24 months no DUI/ARR within the past 5 years and be available for occasional 24-hour emergency callouts. A valid Commercial Drivers License is preferred.
