Job Summary
As an intern responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
- Assist with plan specifications and estimates as well as documenting construction activities.
- Assist with AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings and update redlines with various project set drawings.
- Operate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station.
- Perform work in a variety of software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation ArcGIS etc.
- Potential observation and data collection at different types of project sites.
- Assist with research development and design of projects.
We strive to provide a personalized internship based on your area of interest. This may include learning how to do roadway design geometric layout drainage analysis and erosion control.
Qualifications :
- Enrolled in a Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering or related Engineering program.
- Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD are preferred.
- Able to work extended periods of time in outdoor conditions.
- Above average math and communication skills.
- Valid drivers license and availability for overnight travel.
