Job Summary
Associate Teacher Nursery Spanish Immersion
(New York New York) Support head teachers to prepare and deliver nursery curriculum and instruction using Spanish language skills. Support establishment of target language classroom conducive to learning. Support students social emotional and academic growth in both English and Spanish languages. Support nursery curriculum for individual small group and remedial instruction to meet language targets of identified students or subgroups of students. Support student-centered discussion in which students share ideas and present solutions. Prepare administer and assist with assignments. Monitor student social and cultural growth to appropriately support teaching methodologies including demonstrations discussions and lectures. Salary: $78500 to $83500 annually.
Minimum of Bachelors degree in Education Early Childhood Education or related field plus one academic year of experience teaching early childhood instruction required. Must read write and speak Spanish.
