This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.
The Role

As Technical Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in where the role holder will be a self-driven autonomous individual able to thrive in a technical environment. The role holder will provide administrative coordination and technical support to the Implementation Manager and the wider Division/Directorate team specifically specialising in document management processes Microsoft suite and SharePoint deployment. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth planning execution documentation and follow-up of projects and strategic initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as the SharePoint power user responsible for; site creation site architecture design and permission management
- Schedule organise and coordinate meetings for initiatives and projects
- Actively support Directors Office programmes and projects with the day-to-day UKAEA documents management process including uploading to SharePoint workflow tracking and distribution of workload.
- Take accurate minutes and notes capturing action items decisions and follow-ups.
- Distribute meeting documentation to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update SharePoint sites relevant to division projects and initiatives.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal communications relating to implementation activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the Implementation Manager and team.
- Maintain trackers logs and documentation for all division initiatives
- Liaise with Implementation manager for Directorate initiatives and projects.
Qualifications :
Essential Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in business administration project coordination or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Power BI PowerPoint Outlook)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience managing SharePoint sites and document control processes
