Position Overview:

The Ostomy Care Product Manager reporting to the Senior Manager Product Management is responsible for supporting the strategic and tactical execution of the US Ostomy Care product portfolio to drive growth and market share. This role involves close collaboration with Global Marketing Sales Supply Chain Operations Downstream Marketing and Clinical teams to support new product launches lifecycle management and market positioning. The Product Manager will contribute to market analysis business case development and go-to-market strategies while ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives of the US Ostomy Care portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap Support

  • Assist in defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for the US Ostomy Care portfolio ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Support the development of strategic positioning and messaging for different customer segments (patients healthcare providers distributors).
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams to provide input on portfolio strategy and resource allocation.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market research competitive analysis and voice-of-customer initiatives to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Analyze market trends customer needs and competitor activities to support strategic recommendations.
  • HCPCS analysis
  • Utilize data and build key metrics to measure and optimize strategies tactics and marketing activities.

Business Case Development & Product Lifecycle Management

  • Assist in developing business cases and financial models to support new product initiatives.
  • Support end-to-end lifecycle management including product launches and portfolio rationalization.

Commercialization and Go-to-Market Support

  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to execute go-to-market strategies including pricing positioning and sales collateral development.
  • Support product launch activities including sales training and customer education initiatives.

Post-Launch Monitoring and Improvement

  • Monitor product performance and collect customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in conducting post-launch reviews and analyzing performance against established metrics and KPIs.

Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain product performance dashboards and conduct regular portfolio analysis to identify opportunities for growth and product enhancements.
  • Prepare and partner with demand planning for regular product forecasts based on customer information and market analysis. Analyze and regularly report on product usage trends.
  • Identify new opportunities and refine marketing initiatives through the key stakeholders including among others the customers sales team distributors healthcare systems channel team
  • Stay informed about industry trends technological advancements and competitor activities to support portfolio strategy.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with key opinion leaders clinicians and healthcare professionals to validate product concepts and gather market insights.
  • Support the delivery of Convatecs value proposition in customer-facing presentations and strategic discussions translating product benefits into customer and patient outcomes.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Global Marketing Supply Chain Sales and Clinical teams to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives.


Skills & Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years relevant business experience with a minimum of 3 years of medical device marketing engineering sales or clinical..
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer feedback.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Passionate about customer needs and delivering impactful solutions.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering life sciences business or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience in product management ideally with exposure to new product introductions or launches in the medical device industry.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical practices in the medical device industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and deliver actionable insights.
