The Role
Squares mission is to empower businesses of every size to start run and grow. As we expand our footprint across Europe were hiring a strategic and hands-on Sales leader to drive our success in Ireland Spain and France.
This is a build-and-scale role. The foundation is in place but were still shaping the systems processes and playbooks that will enable sustainable growth. Youll be part of Squares International Sales leadership team working closely with Marketing Product Finance and Operations to connect strategy and execution across the region. Were looking for a leader who can set direction develop talent and execute with precision. You must be comfortable moving between long-term planning and day-to-day problem solving.
This is a key opportunity to help define the next chapter of Squares Sales organization in Europeand to grow into a long-term leadership role within our global team. You will report to the Head of Global Sales for Square. This role is based in Dublin Ireland - hybrid.
You Will
- Own the Sales strategy for Ireland Spain and Francedefining goals operating plans and success metrics.
- Lead and develop Account Executive teams to exceed pipeline conversion and revenue targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Product Partnerships and Operations to ensure aligned execution and customer impact.
- Recruit and coach top-performing sellers and managers fostering a high-performance accountable culture.
- Partner with Sales Operations and Finance to refine forecasting territory design and compensation.
- Use data and insights to refine sales motions improve productivity and remove friction from the Sales cycle.
- Represent the voice of our customerssharing customer insights and field feedback to influence product and go-to-market strategy.
You have
- Proven experience developing and executing Sales strategies that drive measurable growth.
- Success building or scaling Account Executive teams in high-growth tech or financial services environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence across departments.
- A hands-on data-driven leadership style balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or French preferred.
- A builders mindset and long-term ambition to grow as a tenured leader at Square.
