Job Summary
Pro-Active Engineering is seeking Solder Technicians at all levels from entry level Solder Technicians to Advanced Solder Technicians to Rework Technicians. These positions will be soldering surface mount and thru-hole electronic components on to printed circuit boards per IPC-A-610 class 2 and class 3 standards. Dont have an IPC-A-610 certificate We can train!
Essential Functions
Populate printed circuit boards with thru-hole or secondary operation components.
Solder thru-hole components per IPC-A-610 class 2 and/or class 3standards.
In-process inspection of thru-hole components.
Depanelize printed circuit boards.
Trimming clipping tinning of wires and leads.
Properly label or mark circuit boards.

Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
Ability to perform basic thru-hole component soldering on printed circuit boards to IPC standards.
Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Education and Experience
Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
