3rd Shift Production Supervisor

Shift: 10:50pm - 7:00am (Sunday night - Thursday night with some weekends as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead 3rd shift production operations to ensure safety quality and productivity goals are achieved.
• Manage train and motivate a team of 2535 hourly production employees promoting teamwork accountability and continuous improvement.
• Plan organize and oversee production schedules and resources to meet daily production targets and manage bottlenecks.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance providing coaching feedback and discipline as needed.
• Drive process improvements focused on efficiency throughput and quality performance.
• Lead and support continuous improvement (Lean/5S) and problem-solving initiatives.
• Collaborate with maintenance quality and engineering to resolve production issues and improve processes.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and training matrices.
• Foster a culture of engagement ownership and respect within the team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production supervision within a manufacturing or military environment.
• Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or TS16949 quality systems.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working for extended periods while walking or standing.
• Willingness to work permanent 3rd shift and occasional Saturdays.
• S. Citizenship required.
• High School Diploma required; additional technical or leadership training preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Management Business or a technical field.
• Experience in metal forming heat treating or powder coating operations.
