Role description:
Our growing team in California is seeking an experienced Senior Process Mechanical Engineer to join our California Water part of this role you will collaborate within a strong and supportive team environment to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

Role accountabilities:
As a Senior Process Mechanical Engineer specializing in water and wastewater projects you will play a pivotal role in leading innovative mechanical design and process integration for cutting-edge treatment facilities reservoirs and pumping or lift stations. You will drive the development of comprehensive construction documents and detailed specifications for critical systems including pumps valves gates and other mechanical components. Your expertise will be central to establishing the basis of design completing in-depth calculations and delivering robust solutions tailored to each projects unique challenges.
Youll perform thorough assessments meticulously size and select equipment develop and evaluate design options with accurate cost estimates and prepare technical memoranda to clearly document your rationale and recommendations. By leading seamless coordination among various engineering disciplines youll ensure every project benefits from a fully integrated design approach. Youll develop process flow narratives conduct hydraulic analyses and play an active role in project management activities such as budget and schedule tracking. Beyond engineering youll support business development efforts contribute to compelling proposals and inspire the next generation by mentoring junior engineers and ensuring rigorous quality control reviews. Key Skills and Attributes:
Proficient in mechanical design standards and experience in design bid-build or alternative delivery projects. Strong working knowledge of CAD and BIM and be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and interpersonal verbal and written communication skills strong work ethic and ability to multi-task prioritize and take direction.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $109000 - $185000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
