Procurement Multi-Family Manager

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our team in Hazelwood MO.

The Boeing Global Services Government (BGS-G) Supplier Management Team has an opportunity for a Supplier Management Manager (Level K) position within our organization supporting EEE Software and Casting/Forgings Team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversight and coordination of transactional EEE Software Licenses and Casting/Forgings requirements for all BGS-G demands and customers

• Provide subcontract support supplier delivery performance and support for all program objectives

• Manage a team located across several core locations

• Oversee aspects of the requirements planning and subcontract management processes including supplier development subcontracting strategies and affordability

• The identification and implementation of continuous improvement processes is also expected

• Position and team will support procurement teams with supplier performance management and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

• Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes

• Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools

• Manages develops and motivates employees

• Demonstrated leadership attributes

• Hold extensive knowledge of Supplier Management processes and procedures

• Direct experience working with a variety of subcontract types under DoD prime contracts

• Excellent negotiation and problem resolution skills are required

• Occasional travel to other Boeing sites Customer and suppliers (<10%)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes

• 5 years of experience with experience with Microsoft Office software (Word Excel Access and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience with Procurement

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
