Duties: The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a full-time nine-month renewable non-tenure track faculty position beginning in Fall 2026. The primary responsibility of this role is teaching introductory and advanced courses in the networking/cybersecurity degree options for a total of 24 credit hours per academic year.
Other responsibilities include engaging in professional development participating in student recruitment and events as well as providing service to the program area department college university and the community.
Required: A masters degree in any computing discipline such as Computer Science Computer Information Systems/Technology or a related field from an accredited institution is required at the start of employment.
Preferred: A PhD in any computing discipline such as Computer Science Computer Information Systems/Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
Demonstrated ability to teach courses that use equipment software and tools in one or more areas of Networking and Cybersecurity including (but not limited to) Web Security Computer/Network Security Information Assurance Ethical Hacking Incident Response and Database Security.
Any relevant industry certifications especially at the advanced level such as CCNP CEH or CISSP.
