We are seeking a highly motivated Bridge Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North Americas most significant projects. And we are proud to have contributed to projects like the Fargo-Moorhead Flood Diversion in Fargo ND the Potomac River Crossing in Washington DC and the Van Sinderen Avenue Streetscape Improvements in Brooklyn NY.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Prepare designs and analysis calculations and reports for various types of bridges and other transportation related structures.
Prepare and run models analyse and evaluate results using engineering software
Prepare specifications and engineers estimates.
Collaborate with colleagues from various fields to address engineering issues effectively.
Perform site visits and inspections and prepare photos notes and/or reports as required.

On top of that you will:

Hold a bachelors degree in civil engineering or higher with concentration in structures
0 to 4 years of work experience in Structural Engineering
Either have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or be willing to take and pass FE within 1 year after hiring.
Engage in professional associations and be able and willing to learn
Exhibit a keen eye for detail and possess effective reasoning and decision-making abilities
Possess good analytical planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to manage several tasks efficiently
Be familiar with various structural analysis software programs
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
