We are seeking a highly motivated Bridge Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North Americas most significant projects. And we are proud to have contributed to projects like the Fargo-Moorhead Flood Diversion in Fargo ND the Potomac River Crossing in Washington DC and the Van Sinderen Avenue Streetscape Improvements in Brooklyn NY.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Prepare designs and analysis calculations and reports for various types of bridges and other transportation related structures.
  • Prepare and run models analyse and evaluate results using engineering software
  • Prepare specifications and engineers estimates.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various fields to address engineering issues effectively.
  • Perform site visits and inspections and prepare photos notes and/or reports as required.

On top of that you will:

  • Hold a bachelors degree in civil engineering or higher with concentration in structures
  • 0 to 4 years of work experience in Structural Engineering
  • Either have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or be willing to take and pass FE within 1 year after hiring.
  • Engage in professional associations and be able and willing to learn
  • Exhibit a keen eye for detail and possess effective reasoning and decision-making abilities
  • Possess good analytical planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to manage several tasks efficiently
  • Be familiar with various structural analysis software programs
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
