MajorDutiesandResponsibilities:
- ManageateamofexperiencedCommercialProductLineSupportServicesstaffwithdirectoversightof the day today activities.
- PartnerwithandsupporttheCommercialLinesbusinessunit(s)andsupportareastoensurethat products systems processes and procedures are in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including participating in compliance audits reviews and market conduct exams.
- SupportCommercialLinesbusinessunit(s)byensuringapprovedform/ratefilingsandotherinitiatives are implemented.
- ProvideclearconcisecommunicationswithRegulatoryAffairsComplianceAssuranceBusinessUnits State Regulators and all other internal Chubb areas.
- ActivelyparticipateinmeetingsorganizedbytheRegulatoryAffairsandComplianceAssurance Departments.
- Reporttoleadershiponcomplianceeffortsandtheresolutionofcomplianceissues.
- Work with Regulatory Affairs and the Compliance Assurance Department lead the resolution of all regulatory issues arising out of state examinations investigations inquiries and audits for Commercial Lines. Ensure remediation and appropriate preventive action in response to violations of rules regulations policies procedures and standards of conduct.
- Partner with the Compliance Assurance Department to develop communicate implement and maintain policies standards procedures training monitoring and controls within the business unit.
- WorkwithProductLineServicesSupportteamtoensureallproducthandoffdatesareidentifiedand met.
- WorkwithProductLineSupportServicesSupportteamtodevelopthoroughconciseproduct requirements in accordance with IT handoff dates.
- Adviseontheapproachtonew/revisedproductsinrespecttoalternativesolutionsadoptionof existing products rating and pricing options and filing strategies.
- Provideexpertiseandinputinthecreationoftrainingmaterialsandprograms.
QualificationsEducationandExperience:
- operations product management or regulatory compliance is a plus.
- Minimum5 years ofleadershipexperience.
- Bachelorsdegreeorequivalentindustryexperienceinproductmanagementandregulatoryissues.
MajorSkillsKnowledgeandExperienceRequirements:
- Good workingknowledge of the property and casualty insurance industryincluding the product development process regulatory procedures and interactionsandthestateapprovalprocesses.
- Knowledgeofindustryassociations(forexampleISOAAIS)rolesandoperations;demonstrated effective personal working relationships.
- Experience working in a product rate filing and approval environment with explicit leadership/facilitation/coordination responsibilities and knowledge of the relationshipto Underwriting Actuarial General Counsel IT and Claims is a plus.
- Excellentcommunicationsskills;capableofinteractingeffectivelywithSeniorleadershipand internal/external business partners.
- Strongorganizationalandeffectiveprojectmanagementskillsmanagingshiftingprioritiesand coordinating efforts across organizational lines in a fastpaced environment.
