Job Summary

Description

Pay Rate: $14-14.50/hr

Shift: 1st and 2nd

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a company-provided cart to navigate the American Airlines maintenance hangars covering a large area of several hundred acres.
Regularly collect trash bins and cardboard waste from designated locations across the facility.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling waste materials.
Safely transport collected waste to designated disposal areas within the base.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart and associated equipment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding waste collection schedules and any issues encountered during daily operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate a cart safely and efficiently across various terrains.
Physical ability to lift waste materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Prior experience in waste management or similar field preferred but not required.
Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
