This role assists in the coordination compliance tracking scheduling and documentation required to ensure projects are delivered on time on budget and in alignment with organizational goals. The Project Coordinator may also support internal reporting vendor coordination and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Support the planning scheduling and delivery of capital and renovation projects.
Track timelines deliverables and milestones using project management tools.
Coordinate meetings prepare agendas and minutes and monitor action items.
Procurement & Contracts
Assist with drafting and reviewing RFQs RFPs and contract documentation.
Support vendor and contractor evaluation onboarding and compliance tracking.
Maintain organized records of contracts and scopes of work.
Budget & Reporting
Assist with project budgets forecasts and cost tracking.
Monitor expenses and report on variances.
Support grant and compliance reporting as required.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure project documentation and permits are accurate and up to date.
Track vendor insurance WCB warranties and safety compliance.
Contribute to project closeout reports and lessons learned documentation.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Project Management Construction Management Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Manitoba Class 5F license and access to vehicle
- 13 years of experience supporting projects or facilities operations ideally in a non-profit municipal or institutional setting.
- Experience with project management software (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet or equivalent).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and accountability.
- Collaborative team player with initiative.
