The named professorship supports afull-time (9-month appointment) tenured Associate Professor or full Professorat the UConn School of Social Work with an affiliation at the UConnCenter on motivatedproductiveandcollaborativescholarwhoiscommitted toadvancing research and education in aging.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain an active research and publication in BSW MSW and/or Ph.D. programs asappropriate anddemonstrateeffective instruction. Advise and mentor students. Serve on doctoral student committeesasappropriate andparticipatein University School professional local and national level service.

This is a 9-month tenuredposition withan anticipatedstart date of named professorship sponsors the facultymemberfor afive-yeartermthrough financial support for research activitieswith the possibility of renewal.
