Were looking for an Applied Data Scientist to join our Central Europe team supporting dunnhumby clients across Hungary Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The successful candidate will work across two key streams: Price & Promotion and Category Management delivering regular reporting and analysis for a major retail client.
What we expect from you
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into actionable insights
- Passion for building and maintaining client relationships
- Academic background in a science-based subject (e.g. Statistics Mathematics or a related field)
- Programming skills Python SQL are essential; PySpark is a plus
- Familiarity with analytical techniques and modern data technologies
- Logical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience with and passion for connecting your work directly to the customer experience making a real and tangible impact
- Fluency in English and Hungarian is essential
- Statistical modelling experience and a track record of applying data science to solve client problems
