Job Summary:

The Make Ready Specialist plays a key support role in ensuring dealership vehicles are prepared presentable and ready for customer delivery. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including cleaning and detailing vehicles transporting vehicles between lots or service areas fueling vehicles and assisting with general dealership needs. The Make Ready Specialist is a flexible jack of all trades who helps maintain smooth dealership operations by jumping in wherever needed to support the sales and service teams.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Knowledge in exterior and interior cleaning.
• Knowledge in stain removal.
• Maintaining a supply of cleaning products and tools ordering new supplies as needed.
• Transporting vehicles to and from lots service gas stations or other dealership locations.
• Assisting with lot organization and vehicle placement.
• Ensuring vehicles are fueled and ready for customer delivery or test drives.
• Supporting general dealership tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent bending stopping twisting and kneeling.
• Must be able to safely operate dealership vehicles including standard and automatic transmissions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
