Required Qualifications:

Preference will be extended to present members of staff who demonstrate the following abilities/qualities while employed by the School Division:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to get along with and communicate with a wide range of people
- Capacity to recognize the facility needs and respond accordingly
- Superior cleaning skills
- Superior planning skills
- Leadership in assigning and completing caretaker duties
- Repair and maintenance skills of caretaking equipment
- Commitment to workplace safety through:
  - Modeling best practices related to safety
  - Consistent monitoring of work site to identify and remedy potential hazards
  - Requiring and monitoring work safe practices of supervised staff
Successful caretaking experience
Commitment to professional growth and development
Successful demonstration of regular maintenance to a facility mechanical system and skills in architectural and plumbing repairs
Ability to problem solve
Commitment to work duties within the classification and reliability in attendance
Commitment to ideals and principles of Catholic education

Terms of Employment:

As per Collective Agreement
8.0 hours/day
To begin a.s.a.p. (and continue to February 30 2025 or the return of the incumbent if earlier)
Salary range: $23.45 - $27.47 per hour
