Security Guard Responsibilities:
- âDevelop positive working relationships with residents and staff
- Understand fully the fire safety and emergency procedures and follow established policies and procedures for completing forms
- Make routine rounds at frequent intervals throughout the building and grounds noting any abnormal situations
- Assist Assisted Living personnel in emergency situations
- Ensure that offices and doorways are locked and/or unlocked as needed
- Seve as backup to community personnel as needed or if a nurse is dispatched on an emergency during the night

- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months of prior work experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Meet state or provincial health related requirements
