Wiltshire College & University Centre have a great opportunity for a part time Lecturer in Automotive to join our team.

Our campuses deliver a diversity of facilities from the country estate and farm of our Lackham campus to new hi-tech digital and state of the art facilities at our Trowbridge Salisbury and Chippenham sites. We have invested 65 million in our estate over the past 10 years. Our turnover is 45 million per annum and growing we employ some 650 staff and support around 11500students.

Lecturer in Automotive The Role:

Are you passionate about Automotive Do you have industry experience or a background in Further Education If so we have a fantastic opportunity for you at Wiltshire College & University Centre! We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Lecturer in Automotive to join the team at our Trowbridge campus.

As a Lecturer in Automotive you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Level 1 2 and 3 Automotive courses. Your real-world expertise and practical insights will be crucial in preparing our students for thriving careers in this fast-paced industry.

Lecturer in Automotive Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and Educate: Share your industry knowledge and insights with our eager students.
  • Engage and Motivate: Deliver engaging and relevant teaching learning and assessment experiences.
  • Innovate: Develop creative schemes of work and lesson plans that captivate and educate.
  • Support: Provide guidance and support to students helping them achieve their career goals.
  • Collaborate: Work with industry partners to enhance our curriculum and offer valuable work placement opportunities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the Automotive industry.

Lecturer in Automotive You:

We are looking for individuals who have:

  • Industry Expertise: Substantial experience in Automotive.
  • Passion for Teaching: A strong desire to share your expertise and help others succeed. While a teaching qualification is desirable your enthusiasm and ability to inspire students matter most we can support you through your teaching qualification.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Further Education Experience: Experience in Further Education is desirable but not essential.
